Contact-free sensing from the ground, string line or curb for the grade control. That means maximum flexibility by using different references, no mechanical wear, no soiling of the sensor. The Sonic-Ski® plus sensor is the first such device equipped with multiple ultrasonic oscillators. Five sensors determine the distance to the reference point, while a sixth is used for temperature compensation in real time.
